What about Americans?

Tonight I heard on NBC news that President Obama is planning on spending millions of American taxpayers money to attempt to change the beliefs, laws, and actions of people in other countries about gays people.  I have been in Saudia Arabia.  Trust me, they don't give a d___ if we think they should change their law about homosexuals being punished because they have a law against it.  It doesn't matter if I, or any other American think it is wrong for them to jail or put to death a homosexual person who has violated their law.  They do not care if anyone else in the word thinks their laws are right or wrong.  Why is our government wasting money on something that they have no hopes of changing?  Instead a lot less money could be spent by furthering the rights of all Americans, homosexual, straight, black, oriental, homeless, poor, rich, unemployed, etc.  The best way to attempt to make a change in someone else is to set the example and the money would be spent on Americans in America!

  2. Sir, first thank you for your service. Second, in my humble opinion, it is necessary for this president to spend millions on a lost cause. Debt ceiling must be raised in order to cry "crisis" once again and then take more power from the other two branches of government. Do I sound like a nut? Perhaps. But I don't think it can be denied that this president is taking full advantage of the loss of sovereignty of the several states and the citizenry that has occurred over multiple generations.
